The GED governance comprises four bodies:

(i) the General Assembly;
(ii) Administration;
(iii) the Fiscal Council; and
(iv) the Scientific Technical Council.

The Coordinator of GED is the head of the Administration body and is responsible for day-to-day management of the organisation. This includes:
(i) management of implementation projects;
(ii) preparation of annual reports, including the respective auditing reports of the bank accounts of the organisation;
(iii) mobilisation of funds for activities of the organisation; and
(iv) establishment of collaboration with other organisations, among others.
