Internally GED
works extensively with other organisations, both governmental
and non governmental, from which the following can be mentioned:
(i) the Ministry for Coordination of Environmental Affairs;
(ii)
the National Directorate of New and Renewable Energy Resources
at the Ministry of Energy;
(iii) the Eduardo Mondlane
University;
(iv) the Environmental Working Group (GTA);
(v) the
International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN); and
(vi) the United nations Development Programme (UNDP), among
others.
At regional level, GED is member of the regional organisations
Southern Africa Regional Climate Action Network (SARCAN), a node
of the global organisation Climate Action Network (CAN) and of
the Southern Africa Clean Energy Network (SACTEN).
Internationally GED is collaborating with the International
Institute of Energy and Environment (IIED), based in London,
United Kingdom, and with South-South-North (SSN), an
international organisation based in Cape Town, South Africa.
